Helen Easty is a highly experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who qualified in 1996. She began her career in Northamptonshire, working in both first opinion and referral practice, before relocating to Scotland in 2019.

Helen is particularly passionate about peri-operative patient care, anaesthesia, and theatre practice. She is also deeply committed to supporting the development of others, having spent over two decades as a clinical coach and student mentor, where she enjoys sharing her expertise with the next generation of veterinary nurses. Outside of the practice, Helen enjoys hill walking with her family and has a strong interest in both dogs and horses. She also volunteers as a coach with her local Riding for the Disabled group, a role she finds incredibly rewarding.

Brogan Cairns is a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who qualified in 2023. Brogan is particularly passionate about inpatient care and has a strong passion for canine behaviour, having completed additional training in this area. Brogan is dedicated to ensuring every patient has a calm, positive, and stress-free experience during their visit.

Brogan enjoys running nurse consults, specifically fear free< consults. She also has a keen interest in animal nutrition and is always happy to support clients with advice in this area. Alongside her nursing duties, Brogan enjoys helping on Reception and building strong relationships with both clients and their pets. Outside of work, Brogan enjoys adventuring around Scotland with her dogs and cat and riding her horses.

Veterinary Care Assistant

Craig Czekalla qualified as a Veterinary Care Assistant in 2023 after training at SRUC Oatridge. Since entering the profession, he has developed a particular passion for caring for sick inpatients and supporting anxious dogs. With a long-standing interest in canine behaviour, Craig is especially focused on helping nervous patients feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay. Outside of work, Craig enjoys going on adventures with his family and his adorable Golden Retriever, Harris, as well as relaxing with gaming on his PlayStation.
